| The Rosen Centre Hotel, adjacent to Orlando's 1.1 million square-foot Orange County Convention Center, has been presented with this year's most prestigious award from the meetings industry - the 2000 Pinnacle Award.
Sponsored by Successful Meetings magazine, the Pinnacle Award is given only to those hotels who represent the highest standards of excellence within the hotel industry. The publication's 75,000 readers, who are corporate and associate meeting planners, base their selection on the following criteria: overall service, meeting rooms and equipment, recreation facilities, quality of food and beverage, exhibit space, accessibility and social consciousness. In addition to this year's Pinnacle Award, The Rosen Centre Hotel has received several other coveted awards including the Gold Key Award, recognizing the top domestic and international hotels and resorts that provide the finest service and quality in the meetings industry, Medical Meetings magazine's Merit and Distinction Award, and the Royal Doulton Style Award. "It's very rewarding for us to receive these coveted awards," said the hotel's Director of Sales and Marketing, Linda Vandegrift. |
